are expanding their search for a missing little girl. it has been four days since 10-year-old jessica ridgeway vanished in broad daylight. more than 800 volunteers are helping in the search. alicia acuna joins us live from westminster. alicia, any new information on this morning? >> hi, martha. we received an update not too long ago. westminster police say they have found some it he is, the biggest piece of evidence they have so far is still that backpack that was found six miles from her home. the last place where jessica was seen and the place where her mother emerged yesterday evening. jessica ridgeway's neighborhood was searched yet again. fbi agents along with 12 other agencies have been going door-to-door searching backyards and vehicles. neighbors have been requested repeatedly but so far no sign of the 10-year-old girl. >> like i said, she could have walked past me and i wouldn't have known anything, you know. but as far as push shuns go, i haven't seen anything whatsoever. i only know the community has been helping this lady. >> reporter: neighbors do say they understand the suspicion
. >>> the break in a case of a missing 10-year-old girl. jessica ridgeway is her name. police say jessica was last seen on friday morning walking to school and then she vanished. police extended their search into the town of superior, colorado. that is a bit north of denver after discovery of a new clue there. alicia acuna is own the story live in denver now. good morning. >> reporter: hi, good morning, bill. westminster police say that on sunday someone in the neighboring suburb of superior found a backpack and a water bottle on a sidewalk. now investigators won't say what they found inside the backpack but they do believe it belongs to 10-year-old jessica ridgeway who disappeared on her walk to meet friends to head to their school bus stop on friday. more than 800 volunteers searched for her over the weekend. police expanded their search area where the backpack was found, more than six miles away from where jessica vanished. she was last seen by her mother friday morning as she watched her daughter head off from the front of her home. jessica's father lives in missouri and was at a child custody

. our chief white house correspondent jessica yellin has been working her sources about his debate preparations. jessica, what is his primary goal tonight? >> reporter: hi, wolf. according to democratic sources for the vice president the number one goal is to make the compelling case for the president's plans and his vision on the economy. yes, he will look for openings to bring up the 47%. yes, he will look for openings to talk about paul ryan's budget. the idea in general is to tie governor mitt romney -- sorry, tie governor romney to the ryan budget. and as one top democrat put it to me, the idea is to make the case that romney/ryan in electing that ticket means americans would be electing the intellectual leader of the house republicans, as one person put it, that paul ryan is the intellectual leader of the house republicans and he should not be able tonight to duck from any specifics. so, again, we will hear that word, specifics. and look for the vice president to try to get paul ryan to talk about budget details in this debate tonight, wolf. >> jessica, has the vice president
